Years ago when I decided to take my business to the next level, I had to sit down and do some soul searching to determine if this was truthfully the destination I wanted to venture.
As a business owner, you have many options on where you would like to take your business. You could take it far or you can stay on the same path you are treading. Either way, the choice is yours and yours alone. Thus taking the time to evaluate if you desire to take a new route in your business is something to give plenty of self-reflection time to.
When I did my self-reflection, I decided as a business owner that in looking at the current status of where my business was at the time, it did not align to where I wanted it to be in the future. For my business to grow, I realized in order for me to move forward, I would need to rebrand myself. Thus the process of rebranding began and out of this rebranding was born my next business venture Empowered StarBoss.
If you are committed to take your business to the next level and would like some insight in how to do this, here is the process I went through to accomplish this.
Step 1 – Do A Personal Deep Dive Retreat
Schedule out time away alone, to go through a self-reflective deep dive of what you really would like you business to be for you in the future. Best way to do this is book time away in a place where you will not be distracted by anyone or anything. Think of this as like a mini retreat where you go somewhere to be able to sit and journal on your business future.
After you are set in your mini retreat alone time, dive into specific questions to ask yourself in the next three steps.
Step 2 – Define Your What
In this step as yourself two specific questions and take time to write out in detail on paper the answers to them.
WHAT do I currently define my business as?
WHAT specific intention do I want to reflect going forward?
Step 3 – Define Your Why
In this third step ask yourself this one deeper question that gets into the purpose of your overall business.
WHY is this important?
Step 4 – Define Your Goal
In this fourth step, ask your self this specific business question related to the sales goal you desire to achieve in taking the step to next level your business.
HOW many customers do you want to reach?
Once you have defined these deep dive questions for yourself. You then have created the image of where you would like to take your business to the next level.
